Up for sale is an authentic, 4-piece vintage railroad transit archive detailing a multi-state luxury rail journey from New York City back home to Texas, dated February 14–15, 1950. This cohesive, matching set documents the exact return itinerary of a Mr. Ira Butler of Fort Worth, Texas, featuring an incredibly graphic blue Texas and Pacific (T&P) Railway outer ticket sleeve complete with a humorous mid-century cartoon illustration of a passenger sound asleep in a Pullman bed. The lot also includes two matching pink Pullman Company luxury sleeping car passenger checks routing travelers from New York to St. Louis, and then connecting from St. Louis back home to Fort Worth, alongside an authentic passenger conductor's check from the historic Frisco Line (St. Louis–San Francisco Railway). All pieces are in excellent mid-century vintage condition with clear ink stamps and bold colors.
