Vintage Mid-Century Christmas Rubber Face Pixie Elf Knee Hugger Lot of 4

Wonderful group of four vintage Christmas pixie/elf decorations, believed to date to approximately the 1950s–1960s. These feature the classic molded rubber/vinyl-style faces with hand-painted details, oversized pointed ears, rosy cheeks and long poseable felt bodies associated with vintage Japanese Christmas knee-hugger decorations.

The lot includes four different coordinating elves:

* White outfit with red hat and gold collar

* Red/white striped body with green legs

* Green/white striped body with red legs and scarf

* Green felt outfit with pointed green hat

Their expressive faces are fantastic and each elf has its own slightly different facial features and clothing. Great pieces for a Mid-Century Christmas collection, vintage holiday display or collection of knee-hugger elves.

Condition: These are genuine vintage decorations showing age and use. Felt/fabric has areas of wear, discoloration, fuzzing, loose threads and small holes/separations. There is also visible residue/fabric transfer on the back of at least one head, and the white elf’s hat/collar shows noticeable wear. Some hanging wires/hooks are present. Faces show minor age-related marks and paint wear but retain very nice color and character.
