Vintage 1950s Dr. Zimmermann West Germany Vacuum Thermos – Atomic Mid-Century Design
Offered is a beautiful vintage Dr. Zimmermann insulated vacuum thermos, manufactured in West Germany during the 1950s. Featuring a vibrant red body with an iconic white atomic/starburst pattern, this is an excellent example of classic Mid-Century Modern design.
The base is molded “DR. ZIMMERMANN – WEST GERMANY – TYP 451500 – 3/4 LF.”
This thermos appears to have never been used. The glass liner is exceptionally clean with no odors or staining, and it includes the original twist stopper, drinking cup, and screw-on lid. Only minimal shelf/storage wear from decades of storage.
