1951 Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey circus \" The Greatest Show on Earth\". This colorful program magazine is loaded with stories, history, and photos. This 78 page publication also features may great vintage ads and is 8 1/2 x 11. This combined iconic 3 ring Circus show ran from 1919-2017 a total of 146 years. Bought and Produced by the Feld Family in 1967 it was taken to a public Corp. in 1969. The show moved from venue to venue by rail. The train was a mile long with over 60 cars, including 40 passenger cars, 20 freight and animal cars. From 2003 to 2015 the Circus also operated a truck based Gold Tour. Presenting a scaled back , one ring version of the show to serve smaller venues. This fabulous production will be missed and is truly a big part of grass roots Americana.
