It\'s in excellent mechanical condition. The doors open andclose smoothly, as well as tighten down securely and evenly.
The cosmetic condition is excellent with only a tiny amount of plate wear/brassing under the head. You may need magnification to see it. Naturally this doesn\'t effect the shaving experience.
Y-3 is the date code which places production by Gillette during the third quarter of 1953.
