Vintage 1955 mid-century modern cobalt blue glass trinket tray manufactured by the L.J. Houze Convex Glass Company.
The dish features a white graphic of the Lions Club International Headquarters Building at 209 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago (the current site of Michigan Plaza).
Demolished in the 1990's the historic mid-century modern building was designed by Chicago architecture firm Fox & Fox.
Houze introduced its patented process for firing permanent screen-printed graphics onto bent glass in 1952.
The Lions Club spared no expense when they ordered a small number of these bent glass trinket dishes specifically to commemorate the building's official June 1955 dedication!

Excellent condition, some light scratches near one edge, graphics unblemished, no chips, nicks, cracks. Measurements are also in photos.
