Vintage collector's Dutch military Bluvend Motecht Mitin "Eisenhower" or "Ike" style jacket from 1958. This is heavy wool. I'm not seeing any holes. I bought this at a flea market in London in 1991. I dry cleaned it and it's been in the back of the closet since then. I was told the buttons, patches and collar pins were all original when I bought it.
The collar badges are from the Royal Netherlands Army Infantry Regiment Chassé.
The regiment was named in honor of General David Hendrik Chassé, a famous Dutch military commander. It has a rich history of serving as a motorized rifle regiment within the Dutch armed forces.
The four-leaf clover shoulder patch is the ingignia for the historic Netherlands 1st Army Corps (1 LK) or the 4th Division.
This is a very cool collectable or very warm wearable jacket. It's in surprisingly great condition consider the age.
