1960s Pillsbury Funny Face Drink Mix RARE Mini LP \"Goofy Grape Sings\" + Six Mugs For Sale

If you remember Pillsbury\'s Funny Face drink mixes from the 1960s and 1970s, here\'s something that you\'ll love. Funny Face came in an assortment of flavors, and each flavor had its own \"personality\" as represented by a cartoon character. The lead character was Goofy Grape, but he was always surrounded by his friends including Choo Choo Cherry, Freckle Face Strawberry, Jolly Ollie Orange, etc. Offered here is a rare Funny Face record and six different plastic mugs.
The record is very rare. Produced in the mid 1960s, it was a mail-away premium from Pillsbury and was not sold in stores. This 7\" mini LP record plays at 33-1/3. It contains nine songs, one \"sung\" by each of the characters/flavors, plus one group song. The wax itself is in excellent/near mint condition. Unfortunately, it looks like someone (probably a child) used the phonograph needle to scratch several rings around the labels on both sides of the record. These scratches don\'t affect the sound on the record. The original paper record sleeve is also here. The sleeve has the lyrics to the songs so children could sing along. There are also cartoon drawings of each of the characters. This sleeve is in very good/excellent condition, with a few smudges and a couple of light creases. The front and the back of the record jacket are in excellent condition with some light surface dirt from half a century of storage and handling. Unfortunately, the left and top edges of the jacket are split (see Photo #4). There\'s light to moderate wear around the edges and at the corners of the jacket. No writing or scribbling anywhere.
Also included are plastic mugs representing six of the seven characters: Goofy Grape, Choo Choo Cherry, Jolly Ollie Orange, Freckle Face Strawberry, Loud Mouth Lime, and Lefty Lemon. (Sorry, there\'s no Rootin\' Tootin\' Raspberry mug.) The Jolly Ollie Orange mug is in mint condition. The rest of the mugs aoppear to have been used and all exhibit some light paint wear (please look at the photos).
