Dealer advertising from the oldest Harley-Davidson dealership in America, with 1961 printed right on the back.
A dealer giveaway card from A. D. Farrow Co, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, 491 W. Broad St, Columbus 8, Ohio. The front is a colour photograph of a couple beside a loaded full dress Harley on the grass at the edge of a lake, sailboats behind them. Turn it over and the whole reverse is the shop imprint above a full 1961 calendar. The address still carries a postal zone number, which dates it before ZIP codes arrived in 1963. Farrow has sold Harleys in Columbus since 1912 and calls itself the oldest Harley dealer in the country, which is exactly why paper from that shop gets collected. Giveaway cards were printed to live in a wallet for a year and then be thrown away, so very few are left.
