Original 1964 Theatre Advertising Display Card – Anna Neagle in Person Unknown
An attractive and scarce original theatre advertising card for the stage production of Person Unknown, starring Anna Neagle, presented at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, for one week commencing Monday 18th May 1964.
Printed on substantial card and measuring approximately 15 x 10 inches, this appears to have been produced as a hanging theatre/window display rather than as a conventional paper programme or handbill. It retains its two original punched hanging holes and red hanging cord.
The poster features a large photographic portrait of Anna Neagle together with portraits of the supporting cast:

Person Unknown was a suspense thriller adapted by David Butler from an original play by Olive Chase and Stanley Clayton, with this production directed by John Barron.
The bold black, red and white graphic design, photographic cast portraits and surviving hanging cord make this a particularly attractive piece of original 1960s British theatrical ephemera.
Dimensions: approximately 15 x 10 inches (38 x 25.5 cm).
Condition: Original vintage condition with some age-related marks, light creasing and wear, particularly around the edges/corners. There is an old tape mark/residue visible on the reverse near one of the hanging holes. The printed face remains bright and highly presentable. Original punched holes and red hanging cord remain in place. Please study all photographs as these form an important part of the condition description.
