Vintage 1971 Bing & Grøndahl Copenhagen Porcelain Christmas plate, titled “Jul i hjemmet / Christmas at Home.”Designed by Danish artist Henry Thelander, the classic blue-and-white scene depicts a family gathered around a candlelit Christmas tree while a woman plays the piano with a small child on her lap.Made in Denmark.Approximately 7⅛ inches / 18 cm in diameter.The reverse carries the B&G Copenhagen Porcelain three-tower factory mark, Made in Denmark, factory number 8000/9071, the Danish and English titles, and an individual blue decorator mark.First-quality annual issue with no factory second-quality strike.Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Original factory hanging holes are present on the back for wall display.
