1974 ATARI QWAK! ORIGINAL ARCADE PCB / CCA – A000937 – EXTREMELY RARE
This is an original 1974 Atari QWAK! arcade game circuit board, Atari part number A000937.
QWAK! is one of Atari\'s earliest arcade games and one of the rarest production Atari video games from the 1970s. Only approximately 250 QWAK! machines were originally sold, making surviving original hardware exceptionally difficult to find today.
This is not a reproduction or later replacement board. It is an original Atari board from the early discrete-logic era of arcade video games.
The board is factory marked:
ATARI © \'74
QUACK A000937
MADE IN U.S.A.
PATENT NO. 3783483
Please note that although the game was marketed as QWAK!, Atari documentation and original hardware also used the spelling QUACK.
CONDITION
This board is UNTESTED.
I do not have a complete Atari QWAK! machine or the specialized equipment necessary to properly test this board, so no attempt has been made to power it.
The board appears substantially complete based on visual inspection.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE:
There is some storage-related damage to the printed wiring board (PWB) in the area underneath the heat sink.
Please carefully review all photographs, including the detailed photographs of this area, before purchasing.
Because the board has not been electrically tested and has known physical PWB damage, it should be considered a restoration / repair board and assumed non-working until properly inspected, repaired as necessary, and tested by a qualified technician.
No representation is being made that the board is currently functional.

EXTREMELY RARE EARLY ATARI HARDWARE
QWAK! had an exceptionally small production run compared with later Atari titles. Original QWAK! cabinets, boards, and game-specific components are seldom encountered today.
For a collector restoring an original QWAK! cabinet, an original A000937 board is a particularly difficult component to locate.
It would also make an important example for a serious Atari, early video-game, discrete-logic arcade, or coin-operated equipment collection.
PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY
The photographs are an important part of the description and show the actual physical condition of the board.
This is approximately 50-year-old original electronic equipment and is being offered as an untested vintage restoration item.
Buyer should have the knowledge, skills, tools, and test equipment necessary to inspect and service vintage arcade electronics before applying power.
