This is an original 1978 funeral booklet (see picture) from the service of JIM GILLIAM, former LOS ANGELES DODGERS player. This four-page (including the front and back covers) booklet contains the order of the service, pallbearers, and a brief biography of Gilliam. Active pallbearers included SANDY KOUFAX and STEVE GARVEY; honorary pallbearers included DUKE SNIDER, WALTER O\'MALLEY, ROY CAMPANELLA, and DON DRYSDALE; and, DON NEWCOMBE read the obituary. This booklet is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 46 years. There is no handwriting in the booklet. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Jim Gilliam enthusiast, Dodgers fan, or vintage funeral booklet collector in your life!
