Vintage 1983 Sesame Street Cookie Monster ceramic cookie jar licensed by Jim Henson Productions and Enesco Corporation.
This fun figural jar features Cookie Monster dressed as a chef, complete with his white chef\'s hat, red spoon, white apron and yellow cookie bowl.
The Cookie Monster upper portion removes to reveal the storage compartment inside.
The underside is marked:

IMPORTANT CONDITION INFORMATION
This piece has been previously broken/cracked and repaired.
There is a substantial repaired crack/break along the lower right side of Cookie Monster\'s body/base. The repair line remains clearly visible and has blue coloring/paint along portions of it.
There also appears to be a hairline/crack around the white apron area.
There are additional marks, scuffs and signs of previous use consistent with age.
Because of the previous damage and repair, this piece is being sold primarily as a vintage Sesame Street collectible/display piece rather than for food storage.
Please examine the close-up photographs of the repaired areas carefully before purchasing. Photos are an important part of the condition description.
