1988 Puma 975 Trail Boss Knife With Jacaranda Handles & Yellow/Green Box. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. The knife has German stainless blade.

The guarantee control number is 22881. This indicates this knife was handmade at Puma Works in the 1st half of 1988.

The model number is 975 Model. This knife was hand made at PumaWerks.

The handle has genuine jacaranda. This knife has polished brass bolster. The jacaranda handles are nice. This model also has brassliners.

The knife is 10\" long with a 4 1/4\" blade.This fine German hunting knife also is etched: 220 975 HANDMADE - PUMA TRAIL BOSS - GERMANY STAINLESS .

The blade shape is meticulously thought out and effortlessly meets every conceivable requirement.

The 975 Trail Boss model in this classic design is equipped with selected jacaranda scales. The handle has three polished brass pins. With all these attributes, the original \"Trail Boss\" is an innovative knife that still has no equal.

Renate von Frankenberg takes over the management in the PUMA-Werk.1986
Oswald von Frankenberg and Ludwigsdorf dies and leaves an economically highly profitable and internationally recognized enterprise behind.1991
Sale of PUMA-Werk to the Solinger family Hindrichs.1995
Harald Lauer, already active in the enterprise since the end of the seventies, becomes Managing director of PUMA-Werk. Under his management new production methods are forced, e.g. CNC controllers and laser technology.1998
