19th Cent Islamic Ottoman Pierced Brass Lamp Base Shade Calligraphy 19 x12 x 3 For Sale

• Antique Heavy Brass Hand-Pierced Floor Lamp Base
• Amazing Geometric Ornamental Pierced Work
• Ottoman Islamic -Nineteenth Century through early Twenties
• Only 12" High (the lamp was probably as high as 5')
• Unwired - in great condition - none of the varied geometric cartouches are broken
• Covered all over with engraved Arabic calligraphy and geometric designs
• The hand-pierced cartouches are all different -no two are the same
• A few minor dents - no broken metal
• Measures 12" from top to bottom,19" diameter at the base and 3" at the narrow top where it had been cut off from the original floor lamp
• Could use light cleaning but the patina is beautiful
