Original Vintage 2000 Brasserie La Taverne Restaurant Menu Boulevard des Italiens Paris France #1
La Taverne stood at 24 boulevard des Italiens, an Alsatian-style brasserie of the Grands Boulevards serving choucroute, quiche lorraine, Alsatian wines and draught beer under coffered ceilings and light wood panelling hung with clocks. It traded as La Taverne Kronenbourg under the Paris brasserie group Frères Blanc, whose houses also include Au Pied de Cochon and Chez Jenny, and it was closed after a fire. In February 2011 the group opened a 175-seat rotisserie-brasserie, Le Grand B, in its place; the Taverne name later returned to the address.
