I\'ve attempted to add two videos of its function (or lack thereof? ) due to questions I\'ve received. In one video, I\'m GENTLY turning the dial backwards to show that although there\'s binding that keeps the whole piece from properly working, it\'s not extensively damaged. I\'m not willing to potentially ruin the \'collectibility\' by opening it up.This design by Disney artist Jody Daily was inspired by the attraction\'s original white and gold facade. The windmill turns, and like a music box, the internals should begin rotating the dolls, flags, faces, etc. Unfortunately, the internals may have some binding, as it didn\'t play as it should. It requires two AA batteries, but I\'m unsure the function of those.
Although repair would likely be easy, would rather not attempt to open it up. The clock assembly is in fantastic shape, with many tiny pieces that are missing on most the others available.
The center clock takes a watch battery, and works. Hand-painted, sculpted resin, plastic, metal. Imported. Limited Edition of 1500.
