This rollerball is offered in Mint, Never Used Condition (New Old Stock) and comes complete with its original Montegrappa factory boxes, literature, documentation, and limited edition booklets.
Introduced in 2005, the Montegrappa Eternal Bird was created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Montegrappa\'s celebrated Dragon Limited Edition. Continuing the tradition of oriental mythology, Montegrappa paired the legendary Dragon with its traditional companion, the Eternal Bird, inspired by the mythical phoenix and its enduring symbolism of freedom, rebirth, and eternity.
Montegrappa commissioned the same artist responsible for the Dragon design to create the Eternal Bird. The intricate design was reproduced on sterling silver that overlays the pen\'s body using a sophisticated die-casting technique, resulting in a remarkable level of detail and dimensionality.
The cap and barrel feature an elaborate sterling silver overlay, showcasing a breathtaking depiction of the mythical bird in flight. Upon unscrewing the cap from the barrel, the silver ring in the section displays the Montegrappa name and the year 2005. Both the cap and barrel are stamped 925, confirming the sterling silver designation. The bottom of the barrel is engraved with the limited edition number 185/500 on the sterling silver disc. This rollerball measures approximately 5 5/8 inches capped and 7 inches posted, with a substantial weight of 3.38 ounces.
