Collection of photographs documenting new commercial constructions in the Minneapolis area. Each of the photographs (and buildings) exudes an aura of clean mid-century-modernism, with sharp lines, and distinct angles. Norton & Peel, clearly skilled commercial photographers, apparently understood the ways in which a certain compositional devices or framing could visually augment the architects\' designs. In an age of post-war prosperity, \"acme\" and chevrons, architects and photographers alike began to closer examine the relationship between form and function.
