BENJAMIN INDUSTRIAL LIGHTING FIXTURE.TWO AVAILABLE, SOLD INDIVIDUALLY
Due to many layers of ugly old paint, this 1930\'s Benjamin light has been bead-blasted to bare metal, primed and repainted with hi-temperature engine paint. The cages have also been bead-blasted and painted. The cast-iron is in excellent condition, the socket is original and in great shape, the 150 centigrade wiring is new with an added ground wire. These are ready to be placed indoors or out.
The fixtures are mounted on Crouse Hinds explosion-proof cast-iron junction boxes. The conduit enters through one of the side 3/4\" access holes. I will provide a reducer for one hole to make it 1/2\". The other hole will have a 3/4\" knock-out plug. Alternately, a hole can be drilled in the bottom to allow the wires to exit the back. (I can do that upon request, they drill rather easily). There are two flanges on the box to mount the fixture. These Benjamin lights are rare and very heavy duty.
This is the larger 200 watt size Benjamin sconce light. They are just over 12\" tall from the bottom of the cage to the center of the mount. The cages are about 6\" in diameter.From the wall to the outside edge of the light is 8\".
All electrical items should be checked and installed by a professional electrician.
