This gorgeous Enhydro Herkimer Diamond Quartz cluster is from The Herkimer Diamond Mine KOA Resort in Middleville, New York!
It is a cluster of 3 crystals with an overall length of 1.79 inches which has spectacular clarity, internal rainbows, and minor inclusions of black hydrocarbon. Best of all, this specimen features an Enhydro inclusion which contains a moving gas bubble! One crystal is damaged and missing a termination and the other has a smaller damaged areas and a chipped termination, but this is a beautiful specimen overall.
As with all Herkimer Diamond clusters of this size, some reconstruction was required to prepare it.Mined by hand in the spring of 2024.
