4 Easton Press Books, Limited Editions Leather Bound 24K Gold Gilt The Comedies For Sale

Here is a nice set of 4 leather bound books published by Easton Press of limited edition books put out for them for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself!

These fine books are being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a fine book shop or sale house. We can do that by being a dealer in artwork for over 40 years, better controlling our acquisition costs, keeping commission costs low (if applicable). Finally, we don\'t have the overhead that fine book shops or sale houses have.

Published by the Easton Press, they are beautiful, leather bound hardcover editions. Each book is a limited edition offering. The blank end sheets on the front and back of each book is made of a moire fabric. Raised hub spines.These are the original first limited edition seriesdone by Easton Press of the Collector\'s Edition Series.Some very minor finish loss to the covers and gilt on the pages. Somecards/bookplates come with the books.

The 1st book was written by Sir Walter Scott. Entitled, \"The Talisman\". The book has dark brown covers with a gold gilt design on both the covers and the spine. The book is 369 pages in length. Published by Easton in 1976. Some loss of gold gilt finish on all # cut sides of the pages. See pics.

The 2nd book offered here is entitled, \"Tom Jones\". A limited edition of the Collector\'s Edition Seriesin 1979. The author is Henry Fielding. The book has dark red covers with a gold gilt design on both the covers and the spine. The book is 780 pages in length. Some minor gold gilt finish loss on the opens sides of the pages. See pics.

The 3rd book offered here is entitled, \"The Comedies\". A limited edition offering of the Collector\'s Edition Series by Easton in 1980. The author is William Shakespeare. The book has dark brown covers with a gold gilt design on both the covers and the spine. The book is 1,120 pages in length. Some minor gold gilt finish loss along the cut edge of the pages. The 4th book offered here is entitled, \"Idylls of the King\". A limited edition offering of the Collector\'s Edition Series by Easton in 1967. Written by Alfred Lord Tennyson. The book has dark red covers with a gold gilt design on both the covers and the spine. The book is 289 pages in length. A slight musty smell to the book.

These books were part of a limited edition series, not sure how many were actually issued. The books were issued as part of the Easton Press Limited Edition Collector\'s Series. The spines are ribbed and the smooth cut page edges have a gold gilt. The spine and board is decorated with 24k gold gilt. The book is printed on archival quality paper, decorated end papers, and a satin page ribbon/marker.

The books are in very nice shape. The boards are sharp and the binding is tight. There are no marks in the books and the gilding is clean, unless noted elsewhere. No nameplate is affixed or included in these books. Some minor gilt loss on the open sides of the pages.

The cloth page markers are still attached in the books. No musty or mildew smell to the books. No marks or owner tags in the books.

The largest book is 10.75\" tall, by 7.5\" across, by 1-5/8\" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don’t be shy to make an offer, we are always open to reasonable suggestions.

We also obtain insurance on any item that was bought for $50 or more, and require signature on delivery for items that are valued at over $200.Plus we have to pay the 11.75% of the final value and shipping fees that charges.

• Returns are accepted by seller within 30 days of receipt of itemwhere an item is not asdescribed. TheBuyer will be assessed a 15% fee of the Item Cost, plus 115% of the Shipping Costs should they decide to return this item for whatever the reason.
