Postcard book / Postcard lot of MAUCH CHUNK, PENNSYLVANIA AND GLEN ONOKO FALLS, PENNSYLVANIA
Mauch Chunk was originally founded in 1818. It is a coal region town located in Northeastern, Pennsylvania. The town was renamed JIM THORPE in 1954 to honor their native American athlete.
There are 49 Mauch chunk postcards ( I didn\'t count all of the little cards in that total that are included in the souvenier folder)
There are 8 Glen Onokko Falls postcards
Some have writing on them, some have been postmarked. Picture 6 shows the card that are postmarked out of the Mauch Chunk cards. Most of the postmarks I saw were from the early 1900s, I think they were from around 1911 and earlier
