Thanks to Mylar, the strongest plastic available with 1/3 the strength of steel, you'll get protection from: humidity, volatile poly bag breakdown, acid migration, oxygen decomposition, insects, ultra-violet fading, mold and mildew, oils and greases. Half back-comic backing boards are produced with a 3% alkaline buffer throughout and maintain a ph of 8.0+ to further ensure the preservation of your collectible. Meets strict U.S. Government standards for archival storage.

Features

• This product is a bundle of two items. Includes 50 Mylites2 standard size, measures 7-1/4" x 10-1/2" and 50 half backs standard size, measures 7" x 10-1/2".
• Mylites2: At 2-Mil, these are the twice as thick as regular Mylites! Resistant to aging, decomposition, moisture, oxygen, and gas penetration. Not affected by fungus, mold, or mildew. Immune to insect and rodent attack. The fold-over flap can be tucked in or taped closed. Measures 7-1/4" x 10-1/2" Plus 1-1/2" Fold-over Flap.
• Half-Backs: Half Back acid free backing boards are the highest quality backing board available anywhere! Made from 100% acid-free, 24 mil thick cardboard to ensure extra rigidity and protection. Produced with a 3% alkaline buffer throughout and maintains ph of 8.0+ to further ensure the preservation of your collectible. Meets strict U.S. Government standards for archival storage.
• Mylites2 standard size Fits comics from 1970’s-1990's. Mylar is also the most stable plastic, with zero off gassing. It does not absorb moisture like poly bags, and it is 100 times more resistant to the diffusion of oxygen! Use the material specified by the National Archives, the Library of Congress, and preservation experts around the world!
