This 7” mortoniceras species ammonite comes from a Fort Worth formation exposure in Tarrant County, TX, where it was found during construction. I won this ammonite at an sale and touched it up using air abrasive.
I’ve heavily discounted this specimen do to repairs that were originally made as described below.
