This vintage piece provides a charming picture of the skill and imagination of the American Needlewoman.

This is a hand-embroidered \"drawnwork\" family estate piece, probably crafted between 1939 and 1959 by a family member living in Chicago and later moving to the Los Angeles area.

It\'s made of beautiful heavy thick linen which should last for many years.

This skilled needlewoman invested many many hours in creating this treasure. Use it on your table or display it in creative ways (see below) and you will gain many compliments!

I\'ve provided close up photos of some of the elegant swirls, cornucopias, and even Greek themes on this large cloth.

The design is a wonderful combination of white on white fillet lace embroidery, a large amount of drawnwork, and hemstitching on the edges.

NOTE: I\'ve showed the whole tablecloth in one photo, but the lighting in that particular room makes this piece look ivory in color, when in fact it is all white.

The 80\" length may be very useful for a large dinner table or buffet table. It would be perfect for a wedding.
