ANTIQUE ANTISEPTIC STERILIZER CABINET EMIL PAIDAR CHICAGO FOR BARBER SHOP RAZORS For Sale

Here's a real nice antique Emil Paidar Co Antiseptic Sterilizer cabinet that was used in a barber shop for sterilizing razors and scissors....It could also have been used in hospital for sterilizing medical instruments. This very heavy cabinet was made in the 1920-1930 era and is one of the nicest examples I've seen!....ANTISEPTIC STERILIZER with red Maltese Cross painted on inside surface of front door...Metal maker's label on lower part of door reads Emil J.Paidar Company 1108 1120 No.Wills St Chicago, U.S.A. in bold stamped print...The square wood framed cabinet has heavy metal corners and glass windows on front & both side panels....heavy white porcelain top...wood back and bottom.....13 1/2"tall x 12"wide x 7 3/4"deep....Still has its original 3 clear glass shelves inside (which will be removed and wrapped carefully for shipping)....Heavy brass latch on front of door, which is hinged and opens smooth....original electric cord with sterilizer light unit mounted on inside back which reads STERILIZED WITH CB PROTECTOR PROFESSIONAL STERILIZER LANCASTER,PA....It appears to be in good working condition, but I couldnt find a small bulb to check it. The electric plug and cord are original but in good condition....The cabinet is in excellent condition with only a small crack in upper left corner of one side glass window and a small crack in lower left corner of the same side window...No other damage. The other two glass windows are perfect with no damage. Original white cream paint finish on inside wood; some paint loss on bottom inside which could easily be touched up....Very heavy, but FREE SHIPPING so no worries. We will make sure we pack it very carefully to prevent any damage during shipping....The Emil Paidar Company of Chicago was famous for their barber chairs and barber shop supplies. This sterilizer would have been used in a barber shop to sterilize the early straight razors and scissors. It could also have been used in a hospital to sterilize medical instruments, etc.....An identical Sterilizer cabinet just sold for $700 + buyer had to pay for the shipping which is expensive!
