ANTIQUE Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity crest locket necklace / tie, sterling SAE For Sale

Up for offer is an amazing piece of antique men's jewelry featuring a locket with the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity crest in raised metal, which is attached to a rope chain that reminds me of a bolo tie strand. The locket opens and closes easily and is in great shape. There is a sliding piece on the rope that holds it in place and there also appears to be some sort of funky clasp at the far end, which is marked "sterling". Definitely has an art deco, 1930's look and feel to it. In great shape with no damage or major wear seen, and no smoothing to the coat of arms. The locket measures 1 1/2" tall to the top of its clasp.A very nice addition to your SAE or vintage fraternity / sorority collection! Please email with any questions and thanks for looking!!!
