Admiral Sir William Hannam Henderson, KBE was aprominent British Royal Navy officer who served from 1859 to 1908, rising to the rank of Admiral. During WWI, although retired, he played a crucial role on the home front as the founder and inaugural editor of The Naval Review (established in 1912), a journal created to foster strategic and tactical discussion among naval officers.
