Vintage Churngold 6-inch wooden advertising ruler from The Ohio Butterine Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.
One side features the large Churngold name, illustrated product package and advertising slogan:
“Pure, Sweet, Wholesome – A Good Spread for Bread – Made in the Milky Way.”
The reverse features the 6-inch measuring scale, Churngold, The Ohio Butterine Company Cincinnati, Ohio, and the charming slogan “For the Lady’s Work Basket.”
A fun piece of early American grocery, dairy and Cincinnati advertising history. Great for collectors of vintage advertising, kitchen collectibles, sewing notions, rulers or Ohio memorabilia.
Measures approximately 6 inches long.
Original vintage condition with noticeable age and handling wear as shown in the photos. No attempt has been made to restore or refinish it.
