LARGE VINTAGE AIR-INDIA MAHARAJA TRAVEL AGENT SHOP DISPLAY
Impressive large vintage Air-India Maharaja promotional advertising figure, approximately 94–95 cm / 37 inches tall.
A substantial floor-standing airline advertising / travel agent shop display, featuring Air India’s famous Maharaja mascot in his characteristic bowing pose.
Likely produced for promotional commercial display in a travel agent, airline office, ticket office, shop or similar premises, although its original place of use is unknown.
** Condition **
Used – vintage condition.
Large vintage display figure showing age-related wear from previous commercial/display use. There are cracks/splits to the moulded base/plinth, as clearly photographed. There is also cracking/separation around the outstretched hand, together with paint loss, chips, scratches, scuffs, rubbing and general surface marks throughout.
The figure remains substantially complete and displays very well despite the faults. Hollow moulded construction with timber/plywood internal construction to the base.
Please study all photographs carefully, including the underside and close-up photographs, as these form an important part of the condition description. Sold as photographed.

We aim to pack and post within 3 days of payment (but can be as quick as 24hours but we say 3 days incase anything goes wrong or a purchase is made over the weekend).
All items are posted with a trackable postage method and may require a signature.
We try and recycle materials where possible to save the environment and keep costs down.
If the postage is significantly less we will offer a partial refund once you are happy.
If the postage price is more, we will soak the cost where possible to keep your experience good and be fair.
If the postage is significantly more ( eg I underestimated size and weight or the items sells for much more than I expected, thus increasing postage insurance or buyer is from a area in uk which is not covered by standard postage rates) we will contact you to see if we can come to a resolution.
