It shows an airman and a bulldog sitting together in the open cockpit of an aircraft. The man wears a flying helmet with goggles pushed up and a dark uniform. The bulldog is wearing a sailor\'s cap bearing the tally \'H.M.S. Kestrel\'. A mounted machine gun is visible next to them on the cockpit ring. The background shows parts of the aircraft\'s wings and a distant figure walking on an airfield.

The reverse has handwritten French text reading \'Avec les mitrailleurs de la Force aérienne Britannique - La mascotte de la Compagnie - Censure N° 16.638\'.
