This natural treasure needs to be truly appreciated. What we have here is the first ever discovered Wealden pterosaur wing / hand cast. The wing cast of pterosaurs are known and they are documented. They do look bizarre similar to this one. Very reluctant sale. I have kept this fossil in my private collection since discovering it in 2012. This is a wonderfully preserved pterosaur hand cast. Fossils like this are such rare finds.This is an actual cast of a pterosaur hand that was made by a large Ornithocheirus pterosaur. The fossil speaks for itself, it really is an amazing specimen and pretty valuable. Special museum, collector, valuable specimen. I have wetted the specimen in some pics to make it more visible to the camera eye which is no comparison for the human eye for seeing and noticing detail and shape.

A preliminary search of this amber lead me to discover the worldâs oldest preserved spiders web, dated at around 140 million years old. Discovery of the spiders web in amber was reported in the global media. But this ancient amber has the potential to reveal a vast eco-system of new species including micro-organisms, plants and small animals - insects mostly. However, this will take time and requires proper funding.Being entirely self-funded, offering fossils like this allows me to focus on my studies andcontinuemy passionon a proper full time basis.
