Amethyst Shima-enaga Bird Kimono Obidome February Birthstone– Japanese Handmade:
$41.00

Natural Amethyst with Gold-tone Fittings

This piece features a natural amethyst (February birthstone) combined with a charming “Shima-enaga,” a fluffy white bird native to Hokkaido, Japan.

Please note: Since each stone is natural, the shade and pattern of purple will vary slightly from piece to piece. These variations are part of the beauty, making each creation one of a kind.

About the Design

Inspired by a peaceful winter night, this three-dimensional oval oofferome (kimono cord slide) depicts two Shima-enaga birds snuggled close together.

A large amethyst gemstone is set on a clear resin base, highlighting the stone’s natural texture and crystal-like transparency. The gem sparkles with different shades depending on the viewing angle, resembling a piece of ice that will never melt.

Amethyst, a variety of quartz, is highly prized for its beautiful purple tones ranging from pale lilac to deep violet.

The design incorporates delicate winter-themed floral arrangements alongside the birds, aiming for a simple yet endearing finish.
