This charming vintage Zuni three piece belt buckle set by acclaimed artist Angelita Cheama showcases her signature style of cluster work featuring large freeform stones. The set includes a buckle and two matching keepers, each adorned with natural turquoise cabochons in vivid sky blue tones accented by rich red coral. Cheama, who learned the art of lapidary and silversmithing from her parents and began creating in 1952, demonstrates her masterful eye for stone selection and placement. Each turquoise stone displays natural matrix inclusions that give the piece organic character, while the coral cabochons provide striking color contrast. The stones are secured in traditional saw-tooth bezels that catch the light beautifully. Applied silver leaf motifs and tiny silver rain drops add dimensional detail between the stones, while hand stamped geometric patterns frame the outer edges of each piece.
