There is one small chip at the base. Photos with a pen pointing to it show the exact spot. It is on the underside/base, not on the rim, and it does not affect how the mug holds liquid or how it drinks. Aside from that, this is a clean, display-worthy piece of a retired design.

Why this one
Molly Hatch’s Anthro animal mugs are collector pieces. The narwhal is one of the scarcer Icon designs and is no longer sold in stores. If you collect the set, or you just want a mug that isn’t another generic blue-and-white floral, this is the one.
