A beautiful 19th-century French Neoclassical style decorative candlestick. Features an ornate gilt-metal urn relief with scroll handles and heraldic shield motifs, resting on a multi-tiered green onyx marble base. Perfect as an eclectic accent piece, mantle garniture, or unique desk accessory.Condition Report:
Fully intact and structurally sound. All four original cast-metal feet are level - a couple are a little loose, but all original antique hardware is intact. Onyx can be brittle so I gave each nut a light hand-tightening but didn't put much force into it. The metal displays a rich, uncleaned vintage gold patina. The green onyx shows minor flea-bite chipping along some of the sharp edges as is typical for authentic antique stone of this era. Please review all photos closely for exact condition details.
