Beautiful 6 inch bonbon candy dish with handle.
It looks like it was stamped at one time but I cannot get what it says. It’s pretty smooth on the back
It’s a beautiful mint green and in some light it’s a baby blue. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous and the gold gilt is just amazing the imposed sides give it so much character
LOOK at the pictures there seems to be a pit or dirt and I didn’t wanna scrub and hurt the dish. I very mildly sponge clean these and do not want to damage them The raised white and gold decoration is called molded embossing or raised paste decoration. It was applied by hand before the gold was added.
The flowers being completely smooth most likely transfer-printed decals with hand-painted color accents, rather than entirely hand-painted. That was a common technique from about 1895–1925.
