White & Co., Lancaster, N.H. — an imprint closely associated with, and likely an earlier form of, pioneering White Mountains photographer Franklin White (1813–1870), one of the first to systematically photograph the region for the tourist trade in the years just before and after 1860. A wooded rocky ravine view with a seated figure beside the cascade for scale. Genuine age-toning to the mount, condition consistent with the period; please review all photos closely.
