Here is an authentic 1887 Concert Roller Organ often called a \"cob organ” Manufactured by the famed Autophone Company of Ithaca, New York, this hand-cranked, reed-based instrument brings true Victorian-era charm right into your home.Turning the external hand crank rotates the wooden cylinder (cob) and simultaneously operates internal air bellows. The paper rolls are interchangeable. This listing includes one music “cob” roll.
The box seems to be in good cosmetic condition, The mechanical parts seem to be fully functional. It has been tested and does play music. There are some scratches and scuff marks on the wooden box itself. The directions label that is printed out on the rear door is heavily faded away along with some water stains on the same label. Dimensions: 15” x 18” x 12”
