Authentic antique French striped jacket, dating approximately from the 1910s–1930s/40s.
A remarkable early 20th-century piece constructed from a dark grey striped fabric, with a double-breasted front, wide lapels, flap pockets and full period lining.

The jacket has survived with extremely heavy genuine wear accumulated over many decades. Numerous holes, tears, frayed areas and worn sections are visible throughout the exterior. The lining is also heavily worn, torn and partially detached in several areas. The cuffs, collar, lapels, pockets, shoulders and back all show significant deterioration.
These traces have been left untouched and form an important part of the garment\'s history and visual character.
