Original antique Valentine postcard featuring a charming winged Cupid seated on a decorative scroll surrounded by four-leaf clovers. Cupid is shown holding a bow with heart-shaped cherries hanging from the scroll above the greeting “To My Valentine.” The artwork combines classic Valentine imagery with symbols of love and good luck, making it a desirable example from the Golden Age of postcards.
The reverse is an unused divided back postcard printed in Germany with light pencil writing in the address area but no stamp or postmark. The card displays attractive color, crisp artwork, and is well suited for collectors of antique Valentine postcards, Cupid illustrations, and early German printed ephemera.
Condition is very good antique condition with light age-related toning, minor corner and edge wear, and light handling marks consistent with age. Pencil writing is present on the reverse. Colors remain bright and the card presents very well.
