Sborgi, Editore, Firenze (Florence), Italy.The front cover is titled “Calendrier Medio Evo Italiano,” with an interior title reading “Calendrier Artistique Italien.” The calendar contains richly colored historical and literary illustrations depicting medieval and Renaissance Italy, surrounded by elaborate floral ornament, heraldry, portraits, Italian landmarks and city views.Illustrated subjects include Leo X, Boccaccio and the Decameron, Andrea Doria, Charles V, Lorenzo de’ Medici, Romeo & Juliet, Renée d’Este, the Sicilian Vespers, the Palio of Siena, and other scenes from Italian history and literature.The calendar pages are dated 1913, and the rear cover is marked “E.
