Fabric & Historical Relevance: Dating precisely to 1925, this quilt acts as a stunning time capsule of early 20th-century American textiles. The top features a vibrant grid of hand-pieced cotton scrap squares showcasing classic 1920s calico floras, charming ginghams, and early synthetic aniline-dyed prints (including beautifully preserved bright yellows and rich reds).
Condition Report: Finding a 100-year-old utility quilt in this immaculate state is exceptionally rare.
Top Panel: Pristine - There is absolutely NO fabric shattering (shredding), splitting, holes, stains, odors, thinning, or dry rot. The colors remain strikingly bright with no noticeable UV fading.
Backing: The reverse features a uniform, clean Sage Green backing fabric. It is securely attached, structurally sound, and allows the quilt to be functional for immediate display or light use without shedding dust.
