Lovely 19th century antique French Napoleon III (1850-1870)?? glazed porcelain male figurine. The standing male figure is dressed in garb reminiscent of an 18thc gentleman. He leans against a 'tree trunk', rifle in hand. The tree trunk's holes can easily hold pens, pencils, match sticks and even a spray of flowers. The figure stands 4.5" high. The base measures 3 5/8" x 3". The piece appears to be in very nice condition. The only flaw I can see is a small area on the underside of the base edge where a small piece has flaked off. Please be sure to examine the photo.
