Bemis & Call was one of the premier American wrench manufacturers of the 19th and early 20th centuries, well known and actively collected today among antique tool enthusiasts. This example features the classic curved \"coach head\" or \"horse head\" design with a worm-gear adjustable jaw and original turned wood handle — a wonderful example of American blacksmith-era hardware craftsmanship.
