Antique humidor / tobacco box by Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. Co. (B&H).
Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer based in Meriden, Connecticut, known for its decorative metalware, lamps, clocks and household objects during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
An interesting early decorative humidor with a cedar-lined interior and wonderful aged character. The interior retains a pleasant cedar aroma. Thick brass exterior with a warm bronze-tone finish.
Condition: This is an antique piece in rough, as-found condition and is being sold AS IS. It shows considerable age-related wear, surface wear, discoloration, oxidation/tarnish and other signs of long use and storage. There is a hardened white/gray residue or deposit in an interior corner. It is solid rather than loose or powdery, and I have intentionally not attempted to remove or clean it, as I did not want to risk damaging the original interior.
The humidor has not been restored or refinished. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
