Operating condition - I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so - Tested - I have had this clock run for over a full day with no issues running, the strike side sometimes doesn\'t engage and then will also strike freely so the strike side will need service for proper operation. In order for this clock to run properly it does have to be shimmed slightly up on one side.With all my clocks, if you plan on running this clock consistently i would recommend having the movement cleaned to better guarantee long term optimal operation(SEE VIDEO).Please understand i do not know the service history of this clock, and it MAY need service in the future for long term optimal operation.
