Vintage Clear Uranium Glass Lidded Biscuit / Candy Jar - Hobstar & Diamond Pattern
Up for sale is a stunning piece of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) featuring an intricate, deeply pressed Hobstar and Diamond geometric design.
While this beautiful jar appears completely clear and colorless under normal daylight, it fluoresces a brilliant, vivid neon green under a UV blacklight! It comes complete with its matching original lid and faceted geometric finial knob.
Condition Notes (Please Read Before offerding/Purchasing):
This piece is over 100 years old and shows signs of age. There is some typical roughness/flea bites along the inner rim where the lid seats. Additionally, there appears to be a small internal hairline/stress crack in the glass structure. It still holds together beautifully and functions perfectly for cabinet display, but it is priced accordingly due to these cosmetic/structural imperfections.
Perfect for a UV light display cabinet or a uranium glass collector looking for a rare "hidden glow" piece!
